01 Who he is
Mike Risner picked up a guitar at five, taught by his father, and hasn't put it down. Out of Mansfield and the North Central Ohio club circuit, he plays 150+ shows a year — rooms that smell like beer and amps, not arenas.
He's opened for national acts including Fuel, Hinder, Saliva, Candlebox, Hoobastank, Black Stone Cherry and Ted Nugent, and has been on air at 104.7 WIOT (Toledo), 99.7 The Blitz (Columbus) and 102.3 The Fox (Mansfield).
